About us
The Comenius Project that we take part in promote pupils' self-esteem and self-belief in an effort to inspire them to achieve and to raise their own standards. At the same time they are broadening their knowledge and linguistic skills; the same applies to the staff within our schools. We also want to encourage integration so that new-comers to our schools can settle quickly into our community and develop an awareness that will prevent social exclusion and promote a long-term future in our countries, at the same time they will not forget where they have come from because their own cultures and beliefs will also be celebrated.
"One World"
When we speak of “one world”, we mean the unity of the human race; colour, language, religion, customs, where we live and many other differentiating factors. The increasing migration, increasing globalization leads to the meeting of cultures that for centuries lived in relative isolation. The ability to cope in a multicultural, sustainable world is increasingly important. How can we, as educators and teachers qualify pupils to this future world? A harmonious dialogue of cultures would be an ideal situation. However, to make it possible, we must begin by defining a set of common values. Shaping children from an early age, in accordance with the values is the basis for the construction of a democratic, civil society.
